Dr. Sara Dorris,

Nurse Practitioner
With 20 years in healthcare, Sara brings extensive clinical experience, advanced education, and a passion for both aesthetics and wellness to her practice. After earning her associates, bachelors, and graduate degrees in nursing, Sara became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). Sara later went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and has since completed advanced training and certification in medical aesthetics.
Sara founded Sensible Wellness & Aesthetics around a simple belief: how you feel, how you function, and how you feel about yourself all matter. From refined, natural-looking aesthetic treatments to wellness, weight management, and primary and preventative care, her goal is to provide individualized, evidence-informed care that helps you look and feel your best.
Her clinical background spans across many critical care units, level I trauma care, surgery, pediatrics, primary care, and wellness, with continued education in integrative and lifestyle-focused medicine. This experience allows Sara to approach each client with a strong understanding of anatomy, health, safety, and the whole person, and not simply a single concern or treatment.
Patient safety, education, and responsible practice remain at the foundation of the care she provides, and with services provided according to applicable clinical and regulatory standards. Sara's role at Sensible Wellness & Aesthetics is independent and separate from any other professional or academic positions held.
Outside of work, Sara balances her time between her faith and family. Her and her husband enjoy spending time watching their three children Michael, Sophie, and Matthew all play various sports. Additionally, Sara enjoys thrifting for relaxation.

Dr. David Jackson M.D.
OUR MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. David B. Jackson, MD, FACEP, serves as Medical Director for Sensible Wellness & Aesthetics, providing physician oversight and clinical collaboration to support safe, high-quality patient care. Dr. Jackson is an experienced Emergency Medicine physician with decades of clinical practice and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. In his role as Medical Director, he provides medical oversight, clinical guidance, and collaborative support to help ensure that the services provided at Sensible Wellness & Aesthetics are delivered safely, responsibly, and in accordance with appropriate standards of medical care.
